There’s not beating around the bush on this one… a good rug costs a bit of coin. It can be hard to fork out the big bucks on this household item, especially when you have kids and pets that don’t understand just how big of an investment you’ve made. For others, it’s the centrepiece of the room and worth spending every penny.

So when I was pulling together this article it was hard to do research on the best places to go to find a great rug, as budgets vary so dramatically. So instead, I’ve pull together a list of suppliers that locals have had good experiences with, and that cater for all different budgets. On the lower end of the scale are places like Lost Design Society and Au Rugs, through to those at the upper end such as Loom (cue swoon). Luckily Loom has an outlet which I’ve dropped in the deets for below.

So while I’ve not answered the age old question, “where do I buy a rug that doesn’t break the bank?”, I hope I’ve narrowed down your Google search!
